The Walmart  OZ Kids™ Fat Tire Criterium & Fall Fest was a great time!
The annual Walmart OZ Kids™ Fat Tire Crit & Fall Fest saw hundreds participate in a multitude of bike-and-book-themed activities and giveaways. Thank you to everyone who attended and to those that helped make the event possible!

Event Details

The Library gave away hundreds of books to all ages. Thank you to KPMG for sponsoring our book giveaway. We also featured the crowd-favorite: princess storytime with Wonder by Wonder Parties.

The Library came prepared with crafts for kids, teens and adults! Kids were able to make an accessory to show off during their race or to decorate their bike - pasta jewelry. Teens and adults went home with everything they need to make an adorable fall bike charm. We also featured not one but TWO face painting stations to keep our young racers fully decked out.

Buddy Pegs hosted a full-size bike skills course to give racers of all ages a place to get ready for their race or just enjoy the beautiful biking weather.

Many of our racers came to our fall race and festival in costume! Each adorable costumed attendee really made us feel the festive Halloween spirit.

 

 

 

 

Arvest Bank provided free lunches to attendees alongside bananas donated by Walmart, GoGo squeeZ, and drinks donated by Raising Cane's.

 

Hundreds of kids from ages 2 - 11 registered to race the criterium. A criterium is a lap race on a closed course. The race took place with race marshals and our MC Heather giving our racers encouragement with each lap!

Not only did every single racer walk away with a finisher medal but the top 5 of each race received winner's crowns! The overall race winners for the entire series also received winners jerseys!
