Donate Money

Give a monetary donation to the Bentonville Library Foundation. Your contribution to the Library Foundation is tax-deductible!

Contributions allow BPL to purchase new books, host special events and provide Tech Cards to local students. In 2021, donors contributed $77,019 to the Foundation supporting BPL; this is in addtion to funds collected for the building fund.

Friends of the Bentonville Public Library welcomes new Friends. Your membership dues, monetary gifts and used book donations are tax-deductible. Members and guests are invited to attend monthly meetings on the 1st Monday each month at 10AM at BPL.

Every year, our Friends sponsor the Summer Reading Club and Bentonville GeekCon. Contributions also support book collections, literary events and special projects.  In 2021, the Friends contributed more than $10,000 supporting BPL.

Donate Gently Used Books

In 2021, BPL added 847 donated items to our collection, valued at $15,498.  Additional sponsorships and in-kind contributions for programs, services and special events were valued at $45,688.

Donate Your Time? Volunteer

BPL welcomes and encourages volunteers. By sharing your time and talent with us, you can make a difference in the quality of library service in your community. 

The value of volunteerism is significant.  Bentonville Public Library gratefully recognizes the importance of all library supporters. In 2021, 13,574 hours from library volunteers, program volunteers, community partners and library affiliate groups supported Bentonville Library initiatives. This contribution is valued at more than $387,402.

Support Genealogy Services

The Northwest Arkansas Genealogy Society welcomes new members, monetary gifts and book donations.  Society members volunteer in the library's William Enfield Genealogy Center, assisting patrons with research.  

The public is invited to attend monthly meetings on the 4th Monday each month at 6PM at BPL.
