*Explore Space: A Cosmic Journey, a traveling exhibition for libraries, is part of the STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net) led by the National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute. Exhibit partners include the American Library Association, the Lunar and Planetary Institute, and Afterschool Alliance. Explore Space is supported through a grant from the National Science Foundation. BPL is one of 14 libraries nationwide selected to host this exhibit. |
NOTE: Explore Space was an 8-week traveling exhibit hosted by BPL in 2017. Although the exhibit was temporary, interest in space science and astronomy continues! The presentations, lesson plans and activities are free to use by learners of all ages.
