RETURN TO STAFF: If returned to a drop box, I will be charged a $50.00 technology fee.

LIABILITY: I accept full responsibility for the kit/item and accessories while checked out to me.

LIABILITY: I am liable for any repair/replacement costs if the kit/item is returned damaged or is lost/stolen. Any costs incurred will be added to my account balance and must be paid in full.

COLLECTION AGENCY: If necessary, BPL will involve a collection agency to recover the kit/item or replacement costs. Involvement of a collection agency will add a $10.00 Collection Agency Fee.

USER RESPONSIBILITY: The Library is not responsible for any loss, liability, damages or expense resulting from use or misuse of the kit/item when checked out to me. No kit/item should be left unattended.

TECHNOLOGY GUIDELINES: I attest that I will adhere to the Technology Guidelines of the library.

DIGITAL FORM: I understand that a library representative may complete the digital BPL's Library of Things Agreement on my behalf; or when one is completed for a minor child attached to my account.

FOR TELESCOPES: CAUTION: Do not look at the sun with the telescope; doing so can blind the user and damage the telescope. The library is not responsible for any damages a patron inflicts upon oneself or the telescope.

TRANSPORT: I understand that the telescope must be transported in a vehicle and secured with a seatbelt.
