How do I get a library card?

Bring your government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license) and proof of residency (such as a utility bill) to the library. Complete a registration card. Or, check out our Online Borrowing Registration form. For more info, visit Our Collection.

How old do you have to be to get a library card?

5 years old; all minors under the age of 18 require a parent/legal guardian signature.

How much does it cost to get a library card?

Free library cards are available to all residents and/or property owners in Benton County, Bentonville city employees, educators in the Bentonville school district, Bentonville business owners and Fayetteville residents. Non-residents include all patrons living outside, but adjacent to Benton County.  Non-residents are required to pay a $15 annual fee per household.

Why did my card expire?

BPL updates every library account annually.  This allows us to keep track of changes in patrons contact info.  To update your account, please visit the library.

What's my PIN number?

Your default PIN is the last digits of your primary telephone number.

Where is the library located?

Bentonville Library is located at 405 S Main Street, just 3 blocks south of the Downtown Square.
