Join our Tween Activity Group (TAG) to learn more about the library, meet new friends, and do a fun activity every month!
Benefits:
- Make new friends
- Learn about the library, upcoming events and special projects
- Collaborate with different library departments, including teen volunteers and the Teen Advisory Board
Requirements:
- Be in 5th to 8th grade Have a library card/visit the library regularly
- Have parental consent
- Attend and participate in TAG meetings the second Thursday of every month, from 4-5pm
TAG Behavior Expectations
- Participate positively in all activities.
- Have a respectful attitude towards fellow participants, library staff members, and teen volunteers.
- Refrain from discourteous or offensive behavior (verbal, physical or visual) including words/gestures, inappropriate or offensive jokes, and disrespectful statements.
- Foster inclusive relationships that accept the differences of others.
- Respect other members’ space and belongings.
- Abide by library policies and code of conduct.
The following actions may be taken for participants who violate this agreement:
- Parents will be contacted.
- Continued violations may result in dismissal from the group.
