Join our Tween Activity Group (TAG) to learn more about the library, meet new friends, and do a fun activity every month! 

 Benefits: 

  • Make new friends 
  • Learn about the library, upcoming events and special projects 
  • Collaborate with different library departments, including teen volunteers and the Teen Advisory Board

 Requirements: 

  • Be in 5th to 8th grade Have a library card/visit the library regularly 
  • Have parental consent 
  • Attend and participate in TAG meetings the second Thursday of every month, from 4-5pm 

TAG Behavior Expectations

  1. Participate positively in all activities.
  2. Have a respectful attitude towards fellow participants, library staff members, and teen volunteers.
  3. Refrain from discourteous or offensive behavior (verbal, physical or visual) including words/gestures, inappropriate or offensive jokes, and disrespectful statements.
  4. Foster inclusive relationships that accept the differences of others.
  5. Respect other members’ space and belongings.
  6. Abide by library policies and code of conduct.

The following actions may be taken for participants who violate this agreement:

  1. Parents will be contacted.
  2. Continued violations may result in dismissal from the group.
