Digital Lab

The BPL Digital Lab is a workroom dedicated to digital creation including podcasting, photography, and videography. Featuring two large screens with sound bar, living room style furniture, sound-dampening walls, adjustable lighting, and a high-top standing table.

The Digital Lab and equipment must be reserved by visiting (coming soon). Once submitted, reservations must be approved by Makerspace staff.

We're thrilled to be able to offer this as a resource to the community, but it's all new to us. We may change things as we see how the space is being used and where there is demand, so refer to this page often for updated information. 

Who Can Use the Digital Lab?

BPL Makerspace is open for individual use to all BPL members who have met the following conditions:

  • Maker has updated their membership.
  • Maker has attended Makerspace 101 and signed the waiver. Makerspace 101 times can be found on our Events page.
  • If Maker is under the age of 18, they must have a guardian sign the waiver.
  • If Maker is under the age of 10, they must be accompanied by an adult who has also attended Makerspace 101.
  • Maker has reserved Digital Lab and equipment.

The Digital Lab is currently open for reservation the following times:

12:30 - 2:30 pm
3:00 - 5:00 pm
Wednesday 

10:00 - 11:30 am
12:30 - 2:30 pm
3:00 - 5:00 pm
Thursday 

10:00 - 11:30 am

3:00 - 5:00 pm

Equipment must be reserved alongside the Digital Lab and includes:

  • Green Screens
  • Audio Mixer
  • Playstation 5 & games
  • Xbox One & games
  • Nintendo Switch & games
