Bentonville Public Library gets a number of requests from patrons who want to help but may not have the capacity for volunteering or large donations, so we developed an easy way to support your library!
Welcome to the Bentonville Public Library Amazon Wish Lists!
Our Wish Lists* include items we use regularly or that we would like to have to make our services just a bit better. We have aligned the categories with our departments so patrons can feel more connected to their own experiences with BPL. Click on the category to see what's needed!
*While there are often better deals through a vendor other than Amazon, we ask any other donations be cleared with Library staff. Please note, we are not able to provide a tax receipt for any donations.
For items that are not available on Amazon, we have created a selection below to choose from. If you would like to purchase any of the items below, please reach out to us at library@bentonvillear.com.
Purchasing any of these items helps us bring library resources into the community. This includes visiting retirement communities, schools, shelters, and other organizations that serve the community. It also includes opportunities to be a part of larger events, promoting the library and its resources to people who may not know all we have to offer.

We have a relationship with local vendors but as long as quality and brand adherence is maintained, we are open to using other vendors.
The newly renovated Rotary Room is an excellent space for board meetings, training, workshops and smaller events expecting around 40 people. The acoustics could be greatly improved. We have two proposed solutions, one temporary until the larger can be accomplished.
Short Term
Acoustic structures hanging from the ceiling will help dampen the echoes, creating better acoustics for a more intimate feel. These structures can be found on our Outreach Amazon Wish List.
Long Term
BPL would love to feature an art installment that doubles as an acoustic buffer. For proposals, please Connect With Our Marketing Team.
The expansion project allowed us to furnish new spaces with quality, high-endurance furniture that is comfortable and stylish and in January 2026, a grant from the Arkansas State Library allowed us to update furniture outside our original building.
We decided to keep some of the original furniture to create an outdoor lounge for group seating, but the furniture needed sandblasting and recoating in Cloud White for consistency in color with other furniture.
This project is complete, but a donation of $5,000 would allow us to allocate funds toward additional projects.
The Bentonville Library Foundation raised over $10 million to support the Expansion and Renovation Project that completed in 2026. A few naming opportunities remain:
- $1,000: Native Trees (expansion)
- $2,500: Picture Book Bins (expansion)
- $10,000 to $12,000 to $15,000: Study Rooms (various - adult and children’s)
- $10,000: Librarian Offices (various - adult and youth)
- $75,000: Gathering Lawn
